THOUGHT OF THE DAY

It’s better to be hot or cold than lukewarm. For even the Lord your God despises this!

Revelation 3:15-16

“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.

Why is being cold better than Lukewarm?

At least those who are cold cannot pretend that they are in the right. But those who are lukewarm may have just enough pretense to cause them to think they are okay. God desires wholehearted, sincere responses. Anything less suggests that other things have a higher priority…

Are you lukewarm in your fight for justice, equality and humanity?
