Human Trafficking in Thailand – Their story reveals how Thailand, a rapidly developing country in the heart of Southeast Asia, shifted from cracking down on human trafficking camps to facilitating them.

l_548_b8f939473cfd0da62f872ea29f390d22Men and teenage boys languished for months in cramped, cage-like cells, often with barely enough room to sit or stand, much less walk. In June, Reuters journalists visited an IDC in Phang Nga, near the tourist Mecca of Phuket. There were 269 men and boys crammed into a space built for no more than 100. It reeked of urine and sweat. Some detainees used crutches because their muscles had atrophied.

  1. Hello,

My name is Nadine and i live in Germany.

I am the organizer if a fundraiser, benefiting the A21 Campaign /End It Movement.
My team and I are very passionate in the fight against one of the biggest problems of our generation – human trafficking. We will not accept to live in a society where people are forced into any kind of slavery!

The A21 Campaign and it´s volunteers work hard to stop human trafficking. It´s their mission to prevent trafficking through awareness and education, protect victims of trafficking by building shelters and transition homes and prosecute traffickers. This isn´t possible without donations from individuals and companies.
    .
My fundraiser is participating in this year´s Holiday Challenge on CrowdRise – the charity that raises the most money will get a $100.000 donation Bonus! ( Challenge ends Jan,9th 2014) Bonus or not, every dollar counts and can make a huge difference that´s why i´m gently asking you for your help.
Here is the direct link: http://www.crowdrise.com/EndItTodayShineALightOnSlavery/fundraiser/nadinebiewer.
Every donation made via CrowdRise will go straight to The A21 Campaign without any fees! Donations are also tax-deductable
    .
Freedom is a human right and a donation to this project is a great way to help fight modern-day slavery. Please seriously consider this request and let your neighbors, friends, customers, and community know that you are joining me in the fight. If you would like more information about The A21 Campaign and End It Movement visit their websites http://www.a21campaign.org http://www.enditmovement.com and read the stories of survivors.
If you have any questions, don´t hesitate to contact me via email: monthlie@yahoo.de facebook: facebook.com/nadinebiewer2 or twitter: twitter.com/dinadelune
